Breema
Bodywork Breema bodywork is a non-diagnostic,
non-judgmental, and deeply nourishing experience. The aim of the practitioner is to
come into the present moment.
This creates an atmosphere, for you, the client to feel present to
yourself and to sense your natural ease and
aliveness. In Maya’s Breema sessions there is an invitation
to drop into your body allowing the rhythmic movements to release tension
and limiting physical, mental, and emotional patterns that restrict your
sense of well-being. Breema sessions have the cumulative effect of
decrystallizing these restrictive patterns which erode your health and
cause you to feel tense and out of harmony with
life. Sessions are done fully clothed on a padded
floor using a variety of movements including gentle, yet penetrating
stretches, nurturing holds, and rhythmic brushing and tapping which bring
you into your body and give you a grounded sense of your own connection to
life. In addition to the bodywork you can choose to
learn Self-Breema exercises to do at home which help you to become more
balanced, connected and present.
These brief exercises gently dissolves tension and rigidity,
leaving you feeling uplifted, revitalized and more
whole. The philosophy of Breema is based on these Nine
Principles of Harmony:
Fees $65
1st introductory session (1 hour) In this session you are introduced to the
